I decided to test out Duolingo. The tool just tells what was wrong and what should have been the correct answer. Duolingo does not give individualized feedback unless you pay for the premium option. The tool handles clozes by removing one or two words from a question and requiring you to fill in the correct answer. Duolingo does not allow multiple answers, as you must select words from a specific word bank, and there is only one correct answer. The tool allows you to work on a language by giving you lessons with various questions that you must work your way through. It will give you feedback after each question on whether or not the question was right.
